“Only a couple primo spots”

We got the best spot on the lake, it's on the north side, the first site you come to on the lake. It's a very large pull through spot with your own beach. Nice fire ring, picnic table and gravel, pretty level for the most part. Once we picked up all the trash left by the previous occupant, we really enjoyed it. No garbage service or water, but they have a few faulted toilets around. Really can't beat this site for free. Verizon was on the low side of service but with our booster we had no problems getting 7mb/s. Caught some trout and perch.
There's technically 3 different campgrounds, one to the left which are very spread out down to the boardwalk/dock, the second is to the right as you cross the bridge, there's some tent sites down on the water to the left or a loop of sites to the right, then the third is up and over the hill with half a dozen sites pretty close to each other but a few with good water access.
Beware the road coming in had some very large pot holes, we had to crawl in here.

“Nice primitive campground. Excellent for fishing. ”

This is a nice primitive campground situated on the banks of Leader Lake. It requires a WA State Discovery Pass ($35/year) and there's no additional nightly fees. Discovery passes are the sole funding source for WA State parks. Although this isn't a state park, I guess there's some kind of agreement with the Dept of Natural Resources and the parks . It's one of 4-5 such campgrounds in the Okanogan/Omak area.

This is for smaller trailers and RV's only. Most of the campground is inaccessible to any vehicle longer than about 25 feet.

During the winter months the area around the lake is very quiet. During the fishing season there's more activity.
