Absolutely gorgeous park! Right at the foothills of the Rocky’s, it was breathtaking. All amenities worked great, it was quiet and the park host was very friendly. Great Location. Clean bathrooms/showers. Not a lot of room next to the RV for sitting outside. The tent sites also look so nice right next to a river.

The sites are in a gravel lot, but we had plenty of room in our sprinter van. The rv park is extremely well kept, bathrooms and showers are clean, and the access to the river, park, and town are wonderful. The host was super nice and helpful, and checking in was very easy. It’s only about a 30 minute drive to Estes Park, which was the super nice too. The town was great also! We’d stay here again!

Situated at the foot of the Rockies and the road to the greatest park in America - Rocky Mountain National Park. Lyons is a clean town with a great barbeque restaurant and bluegrass venue.
The RV park is situated in a beautiful city park. The park is amazing with stone walkways down to the creek, modern picnic shelters, and a playground. The RV park is a large gravel parking lot with boards separating the lots. The spaces are very tight though I could put our my awning which was close to my neighbor's rig. The problem is when you open the windows you are right next to the other two rigs to hear them talking or running their AC. The spot was level with 50 AMP, water, and sewer, but I think $50 a night is expensive for these small spaces in a gravel parking lot.

It’s surrounded by beautiful mountains and a river runs through it with really cool man made rock seating areas along its banks. It’s walking distance to town, which is super cute, and about a mile from great single track. We really dug the town, the people and the whole vibe! Would definitely recommend!

There are very few commercial campgrounds in Boulder County. If the selection were greater, this would remain our preferred spot. The campground was rebuilt after a major flood in 2013 is wonderful. The location provides excellent access to The Town of Lyons, Estes Park and the Peak to Peak Highway, and to Boulder as well.
While the sites are smaller and ignite present issues with larger rigs, and the services could have a more ideal location, those pale in comparison to its location, ambiance, and the Hosts and Town staff who manage it.
We are full time travelers, but Boulder County was our home before we hit the road. When get to Lyons, we really do feel home again in so many ways.

Ok, whomever designed the campground had never camped before!!!!!
The spots are so close that when you pull in and make sure your slide is in your site, there is 4.2 feet between your RV and the next persons slide!
The water and sewer hookups are in the very back corner of the site so if your hookups are in the front like mine and my neighbor, we had to buy extensions. I don’t know who designed it, but they have never camped before!
You have to get out and open a gate going and coming every time so if it’s hard to get in and out of your rig it might be a pain.

Great park. Right next to the river. Reservations are online only. It was $40 plus $10 reservation fee. Water/electricity/sewage is provided. Two hosts available. Park has showers and toilets and also tent camping available. Our 20 ft camper fit perfectly. Would definitely stay here again. Only 22 mins away from Pearl St mall in Boulder.

From the park you can walk to shops, restaurants, and even a bike store.
The sites are tights...not much room to spread out. We didn't even let out our awning. Parking is free - up to 2 vehicles. We had a full hookup 50 amp site.
