Army Corps of Engineer parks are over looked too often. We loved it here! May to October 31st is $8 per night. No price listed after November 1st. We were the only people in the entire park. There is a 5 mile dirt road coming in. We aren't afraid of getting a little dirty. It wasn't too bad but if you aren't adventurous, I wouldn't try it. We boondock 100% of the time, in a 40' Grand Design 5th wheel, and we take it off road a lot. If that's not your thing, skip this place. Cell service for both Verizon and ATT are good, with good data for both (we were also boosted). I work remotely and I was able to work fine. We chose to back down to the lake spot after walking it. But you can certainly stay in the upper lake view area too. In the peak season I wouldn't recommend coming in a large RV. We took up 2 spots. This is one of our top most epic spots, and it's only 20 miles from the Crater of Diamonds SP.
