“If you don't have four wheel drive, you'll be relegated to a trash heap with a beach view.”

And even if you do have a 4x4, driving on the actual beautiful beach part of this free camping spot near Todos will mean you're probably squishing a ton of baby turtle eggs.

If you agree with the seagulls that the world simply has too many baby turtles, then have at it! :)

If you can stand the trash strewn about the dirt parking lot, though, you can also watch them set the baby turtles free on certain Tuesdays...

This spot isn't a legal camping area.
Much of it is private property and you will be asked to move
immediately by the owners.
There are NO toilet facilities and the only bushes are on the
private property.
There is a lot of trash, broken bottles, in the parking area.
There is a lot of noise late into the night compliments of the locals.
Not recommended for camping.
We moved to La Pastora, 2 miles north, where it was a very nice and clean
beach, far enough removed from local traffic to make it a peaceful couple of days.
No turtles at La Pastora but much better whale watching.
