This campground is convenient to Taos, and very pretty but also very close to the road. Some of the sites are also quite close together. I dont think it is suitable for any size of RV bigger than a Class B+ as there are really small parking spots and not great turn around areas if the campground is full. It looked to me like only site #1 would really be ok for an RV. If the campground is empty maybe an RV could take up two spots but that would be risky if folks arrive in the night. I'm a tent camper so I am only guessing about the access for larger rigs.
The campsites have fire rings and picnic tables with tent sites along the creek. It's nice to be so close to rushing water. Some of the sites even are accessed by a little foot bridge!
The major negative of the campground is that it is so close to the road. Trucks go by pretty darn fast. But if you want to be near town this is a decent option.

According to their website, this campground is open May to November. It is October 3rd, and the site is closed. :( Not happy about that at all; we’d wanted a cheap place fairly close to Taos, and this certainly fit the bill. It’s just a couple of miles outside of Taos, and had vault toilets along with picnic tables and I believe fire rings (we were driving by and I was trying to look as we drove, so I’m not positive about the fire rings but I am the vault toilets and picnic tables). If there was any internet, it was pretty questionable; it’s right about here that I lost the internet for about 30 minutes or so as we drove.
We’d like to try it again; hopefully they’ll be open next time. It was a pretty area, that’s for sure. Absolutely beautiful.
