Even though this says that they have showers and bathrooms, they told us we could not use them because they are only for long term campers.

Needed a place for the night. Just a parking lot with water and electric hook up. Dump station on site a plus. Manager was very nice when setting up the reservation.
The camping area is huge. There was a horse event going on but wasn't full. Peaceful night.

We stayed at the Lancaster Event Center several times for multiple nights each time. We have family in the area and this is the most convenient place with H/U to visit them. It is basically a large, gravel parking lot, but it has E/W (and a free dump station on site) It always has lots of spaces available (except during a few weeks in July). There are no picnic tables, fire rings, bathrooms. or showers. There is a very nice walking trail that runs along the southern border of the park which we used a lot. There are also interesting events to go watch if you are interested in horse competitions or sometimes dog shows. We recommend it, but know that it is not pretty.

This "campground" is basically a large parking lot at a 4H event center. No picnic tables or fire rings. Good place to stop if you need water, electricity, and a dump station. This event center apparently has many equestrian events, so if you love horses, this might be the place for you. Campground manager was easy to work with.

Large gravel lots with several hundred spots for large events. Pretty empty when no events are going one. Can do daily, weekly, or monthly rates. Water and electric with a dump station. If full, not much space between sites, but lots of room when empty.
