“Beautiful Place, directly on the reservoir, campers with generators when we staid there”

Overall Rating

Campground with 10 RV sites directly at the Toledo Bend Reservoir. $3 per night, first come first serve, no electricity, no hookups but potable water and a restroom. Several camper used generators during the night for A/C and we had to clean our place from trash before using it, but otherwise a beautiful place. Trail head for 'Trail between the Lakes' is right there. Managed by the SRA.

“BEAUTIFUL & PEACEFUL!”

My husband and I tent camped here last summer. It is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. It is right on Lake Toledo bend. We stayed there on several different occasions last summer for multiple nights at a time in June-September. We pretty much had the whole area to ourselves except for July 4th holiday. It was full at that time. There are 2 port a potties there that are kept surprisingly clean. There are 2 water spigots there as well. You can swim in the lake or put your boat in using the provided boat ramp, or take a hike a nearby trails. The area is heavily wooded which provides plenty of shade. It is one of our favorite places to camp.
