How is the water level? We are planning a trip up in June and hope to catch some fish.

I arrived on a Monday afternoon (June 19, 2023), about 1/4 full but filled in about 3/4 during the evening. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting; I stayed at a dispersed site during this trip with cleaner vaults than this place. No soap in the bathroom either. There was a fair amount of litter in the campsites and along the road. The host spot was taken but I saw nobody around while there. The road noise is loud and sorta busy, along with some train noise. No chance I’d stay here again.

We were here mid-week, June 2022, Very clean sites and facilities, close to highway. Nicely wooded on the water. Though because of the drought the water is a ways away. Good spacing between sites. Quiet except for the train on the other side of the highway. Very friendly camp host. Parking isn’t quite level for most sites.

We spent four evenings here early in the season. Camp host Dale was very friendly. Sites spacious enough. Tents, trailers, 5th wheels. Several double sites. Restrooms very clean. Water spigots throughout the park. Site 13 took a tag team to back our 30' Classic in. Site 15 about the best in the park. 14 is good but limited privacy from site 13. Easy trip to Redding and an abundance of amenities such as Trader Joes, Starbucks, Best Buy, groceries. Very easy in/out to I-5 yet no noise. A few trains run about 100 yards away, no detriment actually. Lake sites better choice than those on the road with about 50 cars/day coming and going a day.

Easy lake access, peaceful, and clean. The camp host was very friendly. There are not any hookups, but there are bathrooms and fresh drinking water access points. Yurts are also available to rent if that’s your style. We enjoyed are time here very much and will definitely be back again!

I have stayed here in my 31’ class C motorhome several times. The sites are spacious and most have both sun and shade from Ponderosa Pines and oaks. There are pull-through and back-in sites, all paved. All have picnic tables and fire rings. Site #15 is very spacious and has a wonderful view of the lake. I found the best access to the lake at Charlie Creek and Doney Creek areas for fishing, kayaking, dog romping. Off of Antler Road there is a day use boat ramp for boaters.
Camp Host, Dale, is very friendly and
attentive to campers’ needs. I always felt safe and looked out for here.
Small stores, restaurants, a gas station, and a laundromat are right in town.
The private RV Park, Antlers (there is a NRA
campground called Antlers, too) located on Antler Road has an RV dump station and water available for $10.
