I stayed a couple of nights and found the campsites clean, spacious and quiet. Each morning I awoke to deer wandering around. If you have starlink, site 38 is perfect. Most of the sites are covered with trees however this has an open area next to it with a clear view to the sky.

Cell service was 1 to 2 bars with Verizon. Not great, but enough for texts and calls. Just not enough to stream or refresh social media. Bathrooms left a little to be desired as far as cleanliness, but there are four lockable, individual bathrooms per building. It's really nice to have a whole complete bathroom to yourself. Will definitely be keeping this place on my frequent stops list.

Very Nice DFW Area State Park... price reflects 2nd night discount with TX park pass and no daily use fees. Very clean and maintained park. Nicely layed out. A little out of the way as it is situated on the lake away from the local lake communities. Would be perfect for family or group camping.

Our site was great, easy to level to, hookups were convenient, but the best part was there a path behind us that led down to the water where our gradsons had a wonderful time, swimming, playing on the shore and taking turns paddling the kayak.

Not far from Dallas. Site was level. Full hookups. Good voltage (117) during peak summer heat. Lots of trails for walking. Lots of trees. Was to hot to use the beach, was a short walk from campsite though. Camp staff was friendly. Cell service was pretty bad.

Beautiful wooded park, nice sites. We had a concrete pad to park on, a pull through site. There was a trail leading down to the lake from our campsite. Wish we could have explored more.
