It was very quiet. Only a few others were there for the night.
A man came by in the evening and collected the $15 (no cards!)

Plenty of space between sites and plenty of pull throws so you don’t have to unhook. 30/50 amp and water at each site that had connections. Dump is next to the stone bathrooms close to the entrance. Park is laid out a little odd but if you take a quick look around you’ll be able to tell where the individual sites are. Nice gentleman came by around 9 am the next morning and collected our $15. There were 4 other rigs in the park but we were the only overnighters. We stayed in a 36 ft 5th wheel in late August. Definitely would stay again.

For only $15 which includes 50A and electric, this place is great for an overnight. It’s not far off the highway and very quiet. This was a really nice spot I think, many years ago. Very little sign of maintainence with high grass and lots of muddy puddles. Campsites are just in middle of field, not paved, not gravel. Very pretty park. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of scared stray cats. I gave them some food, otherwise they feed from the trash cans.
Verizon service poor.
AT&T pretty good though.

While there are some mesquite trees that over hang roads, shade is limited and there is plenty of room for big rigs to go around the trees. There were 7 campers in the 20+ spaces the Thursday night we stayed, 3 appeared to be long term. We did have the 30 amp circuit breaker a couple of times, suspect a weak breaker., 50 amp breakers were available in all the boxes. We would stay again without hesitation.

A bit off the highway down some little Texas FM roads! Also under the dam, so no lake view or anything. But very quiet. There were only 2 other rigs there the night we stopped. Good 50 amp service. There is water at the site, and a dump. FHU for $15!

Quick stop for the night on the way to NM. It is nice an quiet and clean. Only 4-5 people showed up, most were gone before we left at 8 am. Lots of cats running around :(. Checkin is at the golf course just down the road.
15$ for water and electricity, we did not find a dump.

Stayed overnight on our way to Santa Fe, NM
We checked in with camp host who was also staying on site in his RV (look for for sign on ground "Camp Host") & then picked our site. It's not fancy but simple, clean and quiet. As another review mentioned, be careful going into the building ruins across the little red bridge, broken glass on the ground. If you keep going through the thicket behind the ruins and up the steep hill you will find an amazing view up top. We saw a beautiful sunrise that was worth the climb! Would stay here again, no sewer hookup but a dump station at the front. For $15 you get water and electric hookups, totally doable! We have T-mobile and hardly had any service btw.
