Private camp sites on the lake. No reservations allowed. Plenty of open sites when I was here.

Lake Sinclair park is a small, typical, somewhat neglected National Forest park. Self check in, one host. No rangers. Lake, boat ramp and beach were nice and well kept. Bathhouses less so. Some tent sites on the lake. There are 5 water and electric sites off the water. I stayed two nights at $10.50 a night with my old guy card. Thursda... more

This campground was a lovely surprise. I stopped here on my way north. The sites are very tidy elevated gravel pads for tent camping and many are right on the lake. There is a day use area with a designated swimming section and a boat ramp. The camp host was nice. I didn’t drive through the water/electric sites so I can’t speak to thos... more
