This RV resort has improved a lot! Great local getaway for the Kansas City area.
There is a mixture of different camping areas with long term sites and overnight sites.
Great experience for families.
Labor day weekend was VERY busy, but a pleasant experience.
The manager called me the morning of my reservation to let me know the site I reserved was still occupied, and I was changed to a premium site (they had a cancellation) for the same price.
I informed the office that my picnic table was broken, so a staff member brought me a "new" one.
Roads are well maintained, restrooms and showers are clean.
Wonderful pool - this is one of the largest zero entry pools in Missouri and is very well maintained.
Very nice fireworks displays Sat and Sun evening.
Sun evening - a local band played in the amphitheater, and a food truck offered street tacos.
The game room has some classic pinball and video games, pool table, TV, young kids area, and ping pong table.
Miniature golf, bike rentals, electric carts are also available.
There is a onsite camp store and ice cream shop.
The website is dated and current calendar events are not posted (I don't have FB)
Electric, water, and sewer were available and no interruptions during my stay; my electrical box was too low to the ground and connecting the 50 amp cable was difficult; but that was just my particular site.
Cellphone - T-Mobile has a tower onsite, so excellent; Verizon signal is marginal 0-1 bars on sites next to the lake, and varies by where you are camped. A cell booster helped some with the Verizon signal and was able to get some work done during the week; however, connections would bounce between two different towers 4G LTE vs 5G. An outdoor directional (vs omni) booster antenna would help with Verizon.

The park has had new owners since 2019. They have been busy making a lot of improvements. The roads are much better. More activities are being planned.
It is close to Kansas City and is a nice place fore a quick get away. They have a lot of sites to chose from. We like to stay up on the hill we’re ther is more shade and some cell phone reception.

“Made reservation. Site taken when I arrived”

Made reservations for 3 nights and told them I would be arriving late. When I finally got there around 11pm someone was in the site, stating they have been there for a week. No after hours phone, so we had to leave and try and find somewhere else for the night.

The biggest advantage of this park is that it's so massive and not overpopulated you can really get a great nature camping experience. There are many larger sites for big rigs and 4 or 5 lakes on the property for fishing or kayaking.
