Spacious sites...clean and well maintained..staff very friendly and helpful...trails are nice...no swimming allowed in lake... 4 bars of 3G for Verizon with cell booster...2 bars without booster... We will be back...

During the Winter in Feb 2017 I rented a RV and went to Lake Ouachita with my 4 and 5 year old along with my wife. I am a 46 year old professional and my wife and I both work in the medical field. NOTE: Review is on Campground D - Non-electric Arriving Saturday (10/8/16), we were glad we made a reservation - campground was full! There was no entrance fee to the state park. Tentless Texans would stay here again

“Clean state park on a beautiful lake”

The park is a smaller park but all RV sites have 50 amp and sewer. The bathrooms are very clean as well as the park. If you want to visit Hot Springs, it is only about 30 min from the park. The biggest drawback at the park is lack of cell phone service. We only had 1 bar at the campsite and could only send/receive text. We could get a ... more
