“Affordable, well-maintained state park with lots of camping options right on the water”
Reviewed Aug 13, 2019
Very nice primitive camp spot along the western shore of Lake Ogallala. Double fee area -- $10/night for dry camping, plus a Nebraska State Parks vehicle entry fee of $8/day or $45/yr. 14 day limit. Area has lots of picnic tables, raised grills, a boat launch, playground, vault toilets, garbage collection, and gets 3-4 Bars VZ 4G LTE. 10 miles from Ogallala, NE which has a decent selection of shops and restaurants. Great spot for fishing. Barely anyone around in mid-April. Seemed like I had the whole place to myself.
