This is a beautiful location right on the lake. The campsites are close together. They all have free electric. It looks like there are some tent sites with electric closer to the playground.

Only draw back was a camper pulled in around midnight and tried to set up. We had windows open, so the noise woke us up along with headlights shinning in. They gave up and left, all was peaceful again. Allowed to stay 7 nights. Most of the campers there, did not have anyone staying in them. Sites included a picnic table and all had either a grill or fire ring, with grate. The price was right!

Got here as a stop over/sight seeing trip. Other than free there's not much I can say about Lake North. No actual designated sights, electric only. No water anywhere in the park. Week end before the 4th of July and we are packed in like sardines with more showing up. Back ins only.

According to the sign posted at the park, you can stay here for 7 nights out of a month. There are free electrical hook-ups at every spot and all the RV sites are right along the water's edge. If you are in a travel trailer or fifth-wheel, none of the sites are big enough for you to be in without unhooking your tow vehicle, though -- which is why this park is definitely not ideal for simply over-nighting on your route to somewhere else. In my opinion, the sites are pretty narrow, as well, so you don't get much room here. The sites are also far from level. But, it's free lakeside views, so maybe it balances out for some people.
Rather than unhook, we ended up parking in a little dead-end area of the loop where we could be out of everyone's way. Therefore, we couldn't use the free electric. But if I had to choose between this and a Walmart parking lot, I'd choose this place every time.
Also, be warned that you want to find the westernmost entrance to this park -- the entrance at 83rd and Monastery will take you to the main park and boat launch area, but it's blocked off from the RV area (same with the little side road). Stay on 83rd until you get to the second entrance.
If we had known better, we would have kept driving a little further down the road to Loup Park and over-nighted there instead. We drove past it the next morning, and it looked to be more level and have bigger spots (and away from the wind off the lake), but we didn't examine closely enough to say for sure.

Totally free campsite for our big rig including 50 amp service. Close to town but very quiet. Lots of activities available. Relatively clean especially considering spring hasn’t begun here yet. Very easy access in & out of the campsites. We would definitely stay here again.
