I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in the site #5, an E only site for $30/night plus a $12 fee. I was planning on staying at Bayard City Park but high forecasted temperatures made me switch to this park since the sites were shaded. Roads and sites are asphalt. Sites are basically perpendicular to the road which makes them harder to back into. Some sites have a huge drop off so it is essential to stay on the asphalt. Site 5 was plenty long for the rig and truck. The picnic table was on a slope which made it hard to sit at. You could see water through the trees, but the lake level was pretty low. This site had a relatively small “front yard.” #4 had a larger space. The best spot in my opinion was #1. The bathhouse is older and pretty worn (didn’t use) and the laundry had 1 W/D each. Very inexpensive - $.75/$.50 each. There is a lovely lighthouse in the park. Scottsbluff is 30 minutes away and Agate Fossil Bed National Monument is an hour away. Definitely a park more for water sports.

Not much more I can say that wasn’t said by Crash below. 1. The fee was 30 for the site plus the 8 for the NE park. 2. Descriptions of hookups below are correct. 3. 4. The showers are push button, which may give you 5s or 45s. The water is also luke warm at best.
Seems like a great spot for locals to fish etc.
We stayed while visiting Scotts Bluff which was only about 30 minutes away.

What a great campground! The campsites border the lake and most of them back up to the water. We were on the Lake View loop. The sites are narrow (but plenty big for a rig and our truck), but the fire pits and picnic tables at many of the sites are on a drop off (sloped ground, really) from the parking site, but there are some sites where the entire area is pretty level (Sites 38 and 43, for example, but not an exclusive list, just two we noticed). You may even be able to keep you boat in the water at the back of your campsite (we did!) and loved the view of the boat through the trees from our site.
The campground does not have full hookups. It offers Electric Plus at many campsites, which may have been confusing to us when we booked. The ReserveAmerica website (we thought) indicated that it would have water (but not sewer), but the sites were only 50 amp electric. The general Outdoor Nebraska website states the following for what Electric Plus is: Sites with either a 20/30 amp connection with dedicated water hook-up or a 50 amp connection, picnic tables, fire rings or grills, primitive or modern restrooms.
The ReserveAmerica site clearly shows 50 amp service, so we should have known that it would only be that service, not 20/30 amp with water. Oh well. Live and learn.
There are plenty of water fills throughout the park and the water/dump station is at the entrance to the recreation area.
Also to note, you must purchase a Nebraska State Parks pass as well (which is not included in the price stated above). An annual pass for a non-resident was $46 (daily pass is $8.00). Worth it for an amazing campsite and experience on a cool (even though small) lake.
The lighthouse wasn’t open when we went (the doors were padlocked). We thought maybe due to COVID, but the park ranger at the park office said that it should be open and we should have been able to tour it. Oh well. Again, not a huge deal.
The campground has sites for all types of campers, from Class A rigs to tent campers.
We would absolutely stay here again. It has been one of our favorite campsites. YOU WILL NEED BUG SPRAY. But despite the moths and mosquitos, it’s a fantastic area.
Crash would stay here again
