Overall Rating

Stopped at Lake Meyer County Park Campground mid afternoon for what we thought would be a night, WRONG. This park is GREAT! Very quite! There are 28 RV spots at this park all have 20a and 30a power with generous space between sires. Fresh water and dump are located at the bathhouse with easy access. Bathhouse is also where self check in is located. Sites are gravel and all seem basically level. Dedicated tent area with beautiful view of the valley. Wonderful little lake that you see on the way in and is only a short walk from the campground. Bath /shower house is clean. Quite! If your looking for a resort, this is not it. BUT, if your looking for quite with plenty of space to enjoy nature, you have arrived! The Host are the the BEST! And the county does an excellent job of keeping this park clean cut and debris free. Good cell service with AT&T and Verizon.

Overall Rating

Nice tree lined campground, mostly level gravel sites, Electric only at the pads, Water and Dump Station are available. Please see the Lake Meyer information at the Winneshiek County Iowa Web Site. Nice Lake with fishing, Kayak access, Boat Ramp. Bath and Shower House clean and functional. Quiet place. This is not a resort, nor are you paying for a resort.
