I arrived about 4PM on Tuesday afternoon and easily found a spot. It was totally level and had great lake views. There were no more than about a half dozen other campers. First night was amazing because there weren’t many people around us. Next 2 nights were louder but still good. We were right on the lake with our own private beach area.

We got the only site remaining, was not ideal, but was a decent interior site. Some interior sites had some boggy standing water areas near them (including 28, which was also right next to one of the 3 sets of decently clean pit toilet outhouses); some boggy area sites were closed. 37 rustic sites located on Lake Margrethe appropriate for small tents to medium trailers. Sites 1, 2, 3, 29, 30, 31, and 32 are walk-in tent sites. All sites are reservable.
