Overview of Lake Louise Hard-Sided Trailer Campground
A camping permit and park pass, valid for the length of stay, are required. Please display your camping permit in a visible location. Campers must register (at kioskor self-registration) with their camping unit prior to setting up camp.
A fire permit is required for each night you have a fire.
ALL soft-sided units (tents, tent-trailers, and units with soft-sided pop-outs) MUST camp in the Lake Louise soft-sided campground and stay within an enclosed electric fence, due to seasonal bear activity.

This is a great convenient spot to camp to see Lake Louise. The site was a double shared side to side with another rv but your doors were facing opposite so it wasn't a problem. This is a great convenient spot to camp to see Lake Louise. The site was a double shared side to side with another rv but your doors were facing opposite so it wasn't a problem. The site was very level and neat. There were nice flush toilets near and very nice hot showers just a short way near the entrance. Some had complained of the loud trains but we were on the far side of the campground and did not even hear them.

We enjoyed 6 days at this campground in our Airstream Caravel 22’. Each area has space for 2 campers and it seems to be frequently full. We enjoyed 6 days at this campground in our Airstream Caravel 22’. Each area has space for 2 campers and it seems to be frequently full. Access to the amazing mountains, trails and lakes is phenomenal. Sites have electric and several dumping lanes with potable water. Yup - there’s a train close by didn’t bother us at all. We have Verizon cell phones (2 bars), T-Mobile hotspot (1 bar) and Starlink (100mb/s download speed). Fires in this region meant there was a lot of smoke and poor air quality.

Stayed 3 nights here in my 24ft class C RV. Loved the mountain views and proximity to the path along the beautiful river. Everyone mentioned the train - it's honestly not that bad, and I consider myself pretty sensitive to sounds. It only came a few times and night, otherwise mostly during the day. Everyone mentioned the train - it's honestly not that bad, and I consider myself pretty sensitive to sounds. It only came a few times and night, otherwise mostly during the day. Any horn sounds are from far away. And I was in site 7 which is one of the closest sites to the train!
Pictures of camp site from booking seem fairly accurate for determining mountain views.
Showers are far away, and we're quite dirty when I used them. To be fair - cleaners came right after I showered so may have been bad timing.
Verizon cell phone service was sometimes great, other times frustrating.

Shared camper pad, electric at site, but no firepit. Showers were super tiny with no place to set your clothes. Small broken shower shelf too, but had good hot water.
No deep sleep as the trains come by often and have to whistle at the road crossing.

The train is brutal. It runs through the campground all day and all night. Otherwise, it would be a decent campground.
The sites are not private, bathrooms are cleaned infrequently, and the sites are not level, but the location is as good as you will in Lake Louise.

Spacious campsite. Electric on site, water and dump available but not on site. Showers available ,free and hot. But is not cleaned on a regular basis. In shower large clot of hair remained for 3 days straight. Train noise interrupts your day daily, try to tune it out.

Easy check in. Campground is one long straight shot with buddy sites. Dump station has multiple lanes and this is where you fill up with potable water also. Sites have 30/50 amp and nice picnic table. We did not have a fire pit ring. Site accommodated our 36ft fifth wheel fine. Multiple bathrooms throughout campground that are very cle... more

You basically have no choice for lake Louise and an RV, but this campsite is nice. Electric only and only some sites have fire rings (but free firewood). All pull through sites that are all shared. Do not get the single sites! They are right next to the trash and or the bathrooms.
Starlink coverage was good.AT&T ok for phone calls.
