This is a beautiful location. Showers are clean. Campsites are not racked so cigarette buts, bandaid, general small trash on the ground.
Could be kept up better.

“A terrible experience. Park is just ok, not really big rig friendly, the host needs to retire!”

We pulled in on Labor day and navigated the park to the far end where we found our site 22. We pull a 45' toy hauler and the site looked to be just big enough to fit but not with the truck (unless we parked in the grass at an angle). Before we could pulled in, we noticed the electrical box had been pushed over and the panel was separated showing the actual 50 amp connections! Yikes! We will not be able to use this site so we pulled forward along the back of the park thinking we will have to exit and go find the host? We got to the corner and could not make the turn. They have trees on the edges that grow into the roadway and across is a dumpster. So we decided to turn into site 2 just before the turn. We noticed that all the sites had these tags that showed when people are arriving and for how long. We saw that two would work for all but our last day, so we decided to pull out of the park and back in the other way so we could use the hookups on site 2 (electric and water - which are on opposite ends). At this point I have already called and left one message for the host, I have walked the whole park looking for a suitable site similar to what we paid for, and found only site two would be the best choice. I called the host again but had to leave another message. It's a holiday so I expect this.
We got the RV hooked up and not five minutes afterward we get a call from the host. I was in the process of reserving site two for our stay with the expectation that the host would refund my original stay. She was very difficult to work with, She refused to allow me to stay in site 2 because she said it would not fit my timeframe. I explained we are fine with leaving the day prior if she could just switch our reservation and refund the day not used. She keep telling me they can't do this, don't refund, wants me to take the back in site 18, and just kept telling me to "stop talking"! What a nightmare. I handed the phone to my wife because at this pint we are getting no where. My wife just sat and listen to her telling her to "stop talking" (even though she was just sitting there listening to her). My wife asked if we could just keep site two and get a refund for site 22 (my same request). She questioned why there was no call to tell us about the dangerous situation with the power pedestal! What a dangerous liability that could kill someone. After about ten minutes of my wife patiently listening and requesting the same thing I was asking for, the host ended up moving our reservation to site two and refunding our last night stay! All that hassle for nothing! We stayed our time and explored the area. Everything ended up ok, however, they never did get the pedestal repaired by the time we left. It rained about two inches the evening before we left and the whole area was flooded. I hope no one was standing in the water by site 22 the day we pulled out?

Stayed for a night after dropping off our daughter at Michigan Tech. Boondocked in rustic spot R6 which was up a small hill and was nestled amongst trees and very secluded and quiet. Fairly level site on dirt. Bath houses were clean enough and a short walk down the hill. Campground is on the edge of Lake Linden with a nice park and small swimming beach. There are 2 reservoirs within view of the rustic spots as well. Are at a nearby local bar/restaurant within walking distance that was good with very friendly staff. Used the dump station on the way out in the morning and topped off with fresh water. Overall nice spot and we’d stay here again.

The roads in the campground are a mixture of asphalt and gravel.
Sites are a combination of back-in and pull though. There are some trees throughout the lower campground, but they are not very large to provide much shade. The “rustic”’spots in the upper section do have more shade trees.
Site 9 was an end site. It appears there used to be an additional site next to it but no longer used. The spot to park the RV is gravel. The rest of the site was a mixture of grass and dirt. Site did have a picnic table and a fire ring. Electrical pedestal appeared newer and was in an adequate spot. The water spigot was towards the front of the site. Site was not very level front to back. For leveling purposes of our Class A we had to disconnect and park the RV at the back of the site.
Campground has a dump station at the front of the campground. It had two lanes so you could easily dump either when entering or leaving the campground. There were multiple porta potty’s around the campground when arrived on Sunday. They were removed sometime on Monday. There are bathrooms & showers, but I did not use them.
Verizon signal was 4 bars LTE. Adequate for talk, text, searching internet, and streaming videos.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our tour of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Centrally located so it's easy to get to all the local attractions. They have primitive camping area up on the hill that is very private with great view of the lake if you don't hookups. Bathrooms were spotless but our site was littered with cig butts ☹️.

I even emailed the address listed at the entrance trying to offer payment, no response. I stayed anyway, and it was a peaceful stay with a beautiful sunrise on the water. Quiet, power hookups worked fine.
It wasn't crowded at all when I was there, but the spaces are close together and would surely feel cramped on a busy summer weekend. There's another set of campsites up a road above a hill, which were all no-hookup sites.
