They had a cancellation and the hostess got me a spot. Excellent campground on lake, very quiet with all the hookups and dump station.

Gorgeous view from rustic site 5. Private and spacious. Electric sites are below. Screaming LTE for Verizon and wifi which is awesome for working remotely. Showers are a plus.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our tour of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Centrally located so it's easy to get to all the local attractions. They have primitive camping area up on the hill that is very private with great view of the lake if you don't hookups. Bathrooms were spotless but our site was littered with cig butts ☹️.

I even emailed the address listed at the entrance trying to offer payment, no response. I stayed anyway, and it was a peaceful stay with a beautiful sunrise on the water. Quiet, power hookups worked fine.
It wasn't crowded at all when I was there, but the spaces are close together and would surely feel cramped on a busy summer weekend. There's another set of campsites up a road above a hill, which were all no-hookup sites.

We had no complaints about the campground, I just think there are better/nicer places to stay in the peninsula. We were able to reserve a site and send packages ahead. Camp host was great, as was the local post office. Kids loved swimming on the beach, but the playground looked like it had seen better days. Gravel parking pads and not... more

Camp host was great, as was the local post office. Kids loved swimming on the beach, but the playground looked like it had seen better days. Gravel parking pads and not tons of space.
