Lake Limestone Public Use Area #2

This is slightly better than campground #3, no where near as nice as #1 on south end of lake. Alot of fisherman with their boats which is fine. 1st night stayed at far end and the dogs barking in residence next door were so annoying, ado I moved to second space from other end and it was even worse, several dogs barking at everything I did while outside. No peace and quiet here. Alot of garbage everywhere, nasty people who don't pick up after themselves, fish bones are all over the place so watch your dogs.

This is a county park on the banks of Lake Limestone. There is a boat launch, porta potty's, and covered picnic tables. Camping is allowed according to the website, and we always got a wave from the County Parks truck that drove through each day. We were there for some nasty weather but on the good days, it was pretty perfect to be camping right on such nice little lake. Each day about 2-5 fishing boats would use the launch. The road in is easy and rough paved, then there is a loop that goes through the park area. We just pulled off the loop road onto the grass and set up for the week.
