Great staff, beautifully kept, quiet and dark. We loved it! A big plus for us was access to the adjoining park where we could walk our dog. There are lots of “watch out for alligator” signs, we were watchful, but no issues.

This campground was a total surprise. It’s close to I-95 but you would never know it. The campground sits beside a beautiful lake surrounded by trees and the only sounds you hear are the sounds of nature and other campers.
The facilities all appear to be new. The pool is flanked by the well equipped laundry room and the bathrooms and showers. The buildings have clear signage and the office has a small store and a comfortable seating area.
The campsites in our section of the park are all pull-through sites and the only negative is that ours was not very level. Also, the gravel is slippery so wheels tend to dig into the gravel rather that remain on top. Connectivity was sufficient to work remotely.
Savannah and Hilton Head are only a half hour away so this made a convenient place to stop to visit both. There are lots of stores and restaurants on the road to Hilton Head, so finding groceries or anything else we needed was never a problem.

Rated a 2 because of misleading pricing...
Good Sam Club park and I am a Lifetime Good Sam Club Member, which qualifies for the discounted rate.
Went to the office to request a Campsite Fee break down; None was provided but an attempt to explain the fees verbally was provided.
They stated the nightly fee for a premium site is $56.75; I said the website price is $45.00; They said that is the discounted fee but it does not include the taxes.
I revisited their website: $45.00 + $2.00 Booking Fee + $3.00 per day amenities fee = $48.00/day.
In order to get to the $56.75 charged per day, the taxes would have to be 24.5%... I don't think so... Not only misleading, but fraudulent!!!

This RV resort is very easy to get to off the I95, it is about 20-25 minutes from Savannah and 27 miles from Hilton Head. It is a very clean and spacious resort. There is a very pretty lake that you can kayak (no swimming due to possible alligators). There is also a trail access great for walking dogs, running or just taking a walk. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is our site along with others is absolutely not level. The sites are not paved and have these small rocks that just sank when we put the legs down. The best sites we thought are the ones that backed to the lake so look for those. There is a very nice pool by the lake, a big fire pit, laundry machines (you can pay by credit card, read the directions) and washrooms. We would definitely stay again if we were in this area.
You can hear some road noise and an occasional train but it's in the distance so pretty muted.

It was unfortunate for us that it rained most of the week due to TS Eta, so our site did get a little muddy but it wasn’t awful. Our site was lakeside and it had a very nice view. We did not use the pool/laundry but they were open and available, also very clean. On a lazy day we drove around to 3-4 nearby campgrounds and have no doubt we chose the best one. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here due to other reviews on this site claiming 4 bars of reception for Verizon. We found that was not the case for us. Only had 2 bars of reception during the entire stay. Sites are packed sand with nice oversized concrete patios. Grounds are very well kept and clean. A few permanents but you probably won’t notice. They seem to be placed around the edges of the campground. Nice little pool. Laundry facilities are new and clean. Didn’t use the shower house. Hookups are easily reachable. Sewer is at the front of the rig. Cable works great. WiFi works even better. We streamed all week with zero problems. When you search for a network they are labeled by site number. I don’t know all of them but I did see routers at sites 15, 33 and 86 so if you can get close to one of them... We had site 32 and our front yard seemed much bigger than many of the others. They also have a nice little dog park. If you’re full time like us you know the value of having somewhere to let your pups off leash for a bit! We spent a week here and took 3 day trips to Tybee Island, Hilton Head and Savannah. All less than a 30 minute trip. And on our off days we loved lounging around this quiet, peaceful setting. We fished (no license needed) and gator watched. Very enjoyable stay!
