The lake is waste water from the Air Force base. It may not kill your pets but It can’t be good for them.

No. It is contaminated with sewage, as well as other runoff and disposables from the local military base.

There are signs throughout the property stating to not drink or swim in the water. I probably would not let my pets play in it if I had them.

This is a wastewater evaporation pond. They recommend to not come in contact with the water. This is a beautiful place to stay but we stayed away from the water as sometimes you can see a nasty build up when the wind blows your way and also even smell it on occasion. Hope this helps.
