Excellent East Texas County Park... very friendly staff. Wood County is doing a great job with this park. We stayed here while looking for property and the staff was very informative and helpful.

Breathtaking lake views, spacious sites, we loved staying here so much we extended our stay which the office gal was happy to help us do, we had to switch sites but we did not mind at all. Breathtaking lake views, spacious sites, we loved staying here so much we extended our stay which the office gal was happy to help us do, we had to switch sites but we did not mind at all. When we arrived after hours it was apparent our site I chose wouldn’t work for our rig (some have a more sloped approach to the pads) and so we parked at another that I made sure wasn’t reserved for the night, the staff was very gracious and accommodating. We would love to come back if ever in the area.

Dump station is best ever with their own 4" septic hose already in place (don't have to use your own). Store on site, canoes for rent, fishing pier.

We stayed here in April while we had our generator and lithium batteries installed. All the roads in the location are always paved and the pads are level.... lots of trees and easy access to the lake. The local town had Lowe's and large grocery. We enjoyed the Azalea trail in Tyler and the Azalea Gardens in Nacogdoches. Also the statue walk. We picked up the map at the visitor center.
