Nice little campground on a lake with about 10 sites lake side. Host was very friendly and directed us to sheltered site since there was a high wind warning. Electric at sites with water and dump available. Stayed 2 nights waiting out wind. 3 bars Verizon, $30 a night.

Nice and quiet inexpensive campground. Wide open on a Sunday in early August. Friendly camp host. Most sites are 30A electric only but sites 1-5 have 50A and sites 6 & 7 have FHU for $45. Electric only $30. Check or cash only. Several sites have lake views. Most are back-in and level. No problem maneuvering our 38 ft 5th wheel.

Great campground, very clean, excellent views of Lake Francis. Child and dog friendly. Very quiet. Had no trouble bringing our 40 foot fifth wheel.
I believe eight out of 50 sites have 50 amp the rest or 30 amp and water was only available at a few sites so you’ll have to fill up and dump your tanks at the filling station.

Pulled in and looked around for a registration booth - couldn’t find one. Found the host site - with a sign indicating to try to call one of two people for assistance. When called the instructions were to find a site and call back. I asked the rate (since it’s not listed anywhere here) and was told $30. As far as I can tell all sites are electric only. Speaking of - our site is 50 amp or 20 amp - no 30 amp outlet. I’ve never seen that before. Be sure to bring your adapters. The bathroom (singular, not plural) for the entire park is dated. The plumbing leaks and facilities needed cleaned. No showers.

Basic campground good for one night. First come, and when we got there around 6pm on Monday there were plenty of spots left. It is listed as having showers, but this is not the case. No showers, only bathroom. It’s close-ish to East glacier (little over an hour) but other than that, nothing much nearby. Some lake views, but you aren’t ... more

If you are a fan of birds this is awesome!

We found this place by accident and loved it. Nice, quiet, on the lake, beautiful views, very helpful and friendly camp host. Cute little village with one bar/restaurant close by.
Perfect place to relax and take it easy!

Very helpful and friendly camp host on site. Register with him. Shower rooms are adequate and the is a fresh water fill and septic dump. Small playground and access to the lake. Valier has a grocery store and a few restaurants/pubs. While we were there, a lot of bear activity and a burn ban in place. Great little stopover on your way to Glacier or before entering Canada.
A little tough to find. Go thru Valier to 2nd ave, left to Teton, right to campground road.
