The price is now $20 Canadian Dollars. This is a nice site - all sites seem level and the surroundings are peaceful and very scenic. We just did an overnight stay but if we ever come back this way again we’ll definitely stay here.

We stayed here in mid-August on our return trip from Alaska. We arrived about 5:30 Yukon time and had our choice of sites but it did fill up later on. The sites are pull by’s rather than pull thrus and are double sites. We pulled thru to the front of ours and another motorhome pulled in behind us later in the evening. We left before them so both of us had an easy exit. The back-ins were long with good spacing between them -lots of greenery between sites (except for the pull by’s). The driveway in had a lot of potholes and there is a turn around at the end of it. Like all Yukon campgrounds, it was unserviced and provided unlimited firewood.

Its a fairly quiet spots along a beautiful creek, get there earlier in the day if you want to get into one of the spots that just blow away the others when it comes to the view. Like all the YGCG you get firewood to burn, which is a big draw for visitors, and I highly recommend keeping an axe in your tool chest for chopping that wood. This campground is located in a way that you can wake up in the morning and head toward the border crossing with a fresh face, or vice versa you can stay here after the stress of crossing the border :) . Our last stay was in September of 2017.

Campground with large open gravel area and long road with both back-in and pull-through sites and a turnaround at the end. Campsites are relatively open with limited privacy but the area is treed to provide a forest type setting. I arrived early and snagged a site overlooking the creek – really a small river with a good current. Water was clear and cold and I was able to go swimming as it is at least waist deep.
Typical stuff in all the Yukon government campgrounds: pit toilets, garbage, and a covered shelter. Free firewood. No water supply.
Some road noise from the highway but not too bad. No cell signal on Bell Canada or likely any other carrier.
