Lake Athens Marina & RV Park

This is an awesome park right on Athens lake. Great access to boat docks and has a general store with bait and other amenities. The boathouse restaurant serves lunch/dinner and has great food but it’s pricey. It was packed every day no matter what day. The rv park has a decent laundry room and restrooms and showers were clean with HOT water. Everyone was very Accommodating and I really enjoyed our stay! The park has a small playground as well for kids, and a fire pit with wood stocked although we didn’t use. We were actually able to extend our stay last minute to prevent moving in a thunder storm which was awesome. The Athens fishery is right next door to the park and is very kid friendly. They provide fishing poles and you can fish their pond for like $6 a person. More than reasonable. I would highly recommend Athens rv park/Marina. Deer also stroll around early morning/evening. Great views of lake as well from most sites.

We stayed here 1 night while visiting family in Athens. The campground is a few miles out of town on Athens lake, but just a short drive. The sites were level gravel with full hookup.
