“More elk than people”
We were the only campers. Saw 3 other cars over 3 days.
Road in is a little rough. My Garmin said there was a back way out, but I couldn't find it.
I believe I saw a leach on my leg after wading in the lake, but I shook it off too quickly to positively ID it.
On the hill above there is a caldera with a pond and salt lick that elk and antelope frequent. Cows stay by the lake.
Pretty. Quiet. Not too buggy in mid-June. A little overgrown. Signs of hunters.
