I see many folks leave for days and weeks. I have never done it personally but would be ok for a day or two. Not sure I would leave it for weeks but that is just me - the area is/has been pretty safe and I have been going there for about 6 years. La Posa West I would be less inclined to do so though.

I would feel pretty comfortable too.. People keep to themselves, and there's too many people around, I think everyone kind of keeps an eye on each other. You can always put up a "smile you're on camera" sign if it helps, but because people have to pay to be there anyway, it's a lot more protected than La Posa North.

Agree, I think it's generally pretty safe there...but you will probably want to make friends with some other folks staying out there by you and see if they can keep an eye on your rig while you are gone.

Generally I would. I think it's rare that anyone bothers your camp site. I know folks that have done just that. This is my 3rd season here, and (knock on wood) my camp has never been bothered.

Only with a couple wheel locks and a hitch lock. It is fairly safe, but there is no one patrolling, or looking for anything out of the ordinary. Not that there is much that is ordinary at La Posa
