We rejected the back in because our neighbor was parked right in front of our connection. They only have one washer and dryer. The dryer didn’t work so save yourself the trouble and go to the laundry mat. It’s too expensive for all it has going for it is location but hardly any working amenities.

We called and made a reservation to stay here while visiting Mesa Verde through Passport America. When we showed up the camp host was very helpful and friendly. He informed us that a woman had decided to stay an extra night and would be moving spots so we could still have the spot we had reserved prior to our arrival and use our discount. Unfortunately she did not move by the time we arrived around noon. Camp host tried his best to work with us but the manager (Sheree) was unwilling to honor the discount she had promised for a different spot since she had sold the spot we had reserved earlier. Disappointing to have scramble to find another place to stay day of due to management’s incompetence.
Camp host was great! Very helpful and apologetic through the inconvenience.

We stayed here 7 days in early May beginning on a Sunday. Met by Jim, a very helpful park host, who helped us back our 27' trailer into the tight #16. Our gravel site reqd s/s leveling. Later Jim came by to advise that Monday would be the start of a major Wifi upgrade for the park, which would be up and running Wednesday, and would be robust enough to allow video streaming. (Yeah, sure!) Strong Verizon got us thru the Mon, Tues outages and by Wed. new Wifi was up and running. My movie loving DW tested the system each evening and declared it an unqualified success. (Are you kidding, VIDEO STREAMING on an RVP wifi? Yeah!!) Didn't use the cable, RR or showers, or one-washer/dryer laundry (We used one of 2 commercial laundries nearby on Main St.) It's a quiet park, except for a few hot-rods doing tricks in a vacant shopping center off of Main St. The sites are really tight, which wasn't a problem for us; enough space to set up our outdoor grill one night. See my drone shot pic for view of sites 14-18. Dining out? Gustavo's & Wigglin' Pig.

Very handy to Cortez. Very cool little town. Every thing one would need with a surprise or two if one’s eyes are open. Don’t miss McFee Reservoir.
Easy in and out with our 28’ TT. Many larger rigs on site. Very quiet. Wonderful neighbors.

We were looking for an overnight spot on our way to AZ from CO. This place was ok at best. Website pictures are very deceptive. Spots were VERY close together with little room to put out a mat or put up a table. Right off highway.

Arrived without reservations but manager found us a very nice spot. Otherwise spots are tight. Lots of monthlies. Clean quiet, so convenient for Mesa verde and hovenweep. Manager guy very friendly and gave us great ideas for sights to see. Grocery and Walmart close by. Showers closed due to covid

We will stay here again. Easy walk to town. A little added fun is a unique Prairie dog town in the adjacent lot.
Thank you so much! Don’t miss when you are in Cortez! Hope to check out their place in Springerville also.

A good level gravel pull-through site with full hookups, not too crowded, pretty quiet, not too many distractions for our dogs. We had a good experience here and good vibes about this RV park.

Staff was very friendly. Close to town. Restrooms and Laundry were not open, this did not effect our stay, but would of been nice to know prior to arriving.

We were lucky enough to stumble on La Mesa on our way to Mesa Verde NP (about 10 minutes drive). The owner/manager (?) was very nice when I called late in the afternoon to see what rates were and told me to text her what we decided. She had everything ready when we got there and offered us either a pull-thru ($40/night) or back in ($35/night) both with full hookups (W/E/S). The back in wasn’t available for two nights so we chose the pull-thru. It was kind of tight for our small RV meaning there wasn’t much space between campers, however, the big 5th wheels and Class A RVs fit fine in the other spots. I wish there was a little more room between sites, better dog walking area since so many people had animals, and the bathrooms were open. They were closed due to COVID-19 which I understand, but we used the coin laundry on site which was very clean and new ($2/load wash). Additionally, the owner/manager allowed me to come up by the office to connect to the faster WiFi in order to do a Zoom meeting for work which was very much appreciated. Be careful turning into the park as it’s a bit of a bump and easy to miss if you aren’t looking.
