“Quiet and relaxing ”

Windy mountain road to get to campground with several 20 mph turns. Full hookup section has some great sites (3-6) which are spacious and right on the creek Other sites seemed pretty tight. The reservation is strict on what they allow you to do. You have to use their firewood, no hiking trails no pets. For a couple of days to unwind it’s a good spot

“Mostly quiet before busy season begins. ”

Staff are all friendly and greet you when you pass each other. We camped the weekend before the water is turned on to the river. Their busy time starts on Memorial weekend. We chose a site that backs to the river which at the time was like a quiet brook.

There were two groups that were noisy until 11:00pm, but was quiet afterwards. According to other sites, it is very popular but reviews are mixed. We didn’t make it over to the bathroom and there are Porta Potties positioned everywhere.

Road is paved for biking. Beautiful tent/dry camp sites along the river. They also have zip lining that gives a substantial discount to the camp guests.

Verizon LTE at 2 bars actually worked well. Credit card payments are charged an additional $1.50.
