I should more, one night the casino nearby had a party and blasted extremely loud music until midnight. But after that everything was peaceful.

I took the time to look up the regulations, and as of today it is completely legal to camp here. I will post a screenshot of the camping regulations for verification.
To get here, you turn off the highway at a pump station and cross a canal. The road Tee’s. Take a right, and drive around the large fuel tanks.
There is a sign on a concrete barrier on the side that says “Authorized vehicles Only”. Ignore it. It is a parking warning to keep people from parking in front of the fuel tanks. It will make sense when you drive past.
Immediately after making the corner, you can drive down next to the canal. If it is occupied, there is a nice turn around just a little farther down the road that any RV could turn around. If you are pulling doubles or tripples, don’t stay here. You won’t be able to turn around.
You can also take a left at the pimp station, and camp on that side, but you have to drive down either to canal road or the dike road for about 1/4 mile to turn around. I think any trailer under 30 ft would be do-able, but a very tight turn. I would not take a class A to the left
I’m here on a Friday night, and there is jo one else around. The highway is pretty busy. Lots of locals here fishing when I arrived around 5pm. They were all very friendly and helpful.
It feels safe. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, I think this is a diamond in the rough. There is some noise from the pump station, but it’s not bad, and you cannot hear it inside the camper.

There are flood control gates there that allow you to cross the waterway. The picture depicts where the boat ramp is. It is down a steep ramp that is not for the faint of heart. At the base of the levee there is a small pull out that you could use as a site. It was too sketchy for us so we went further west and found another site at Mile marker 30. That was much better, but for us was too far away from Miami

I was a bit worried about staying here considering that campendium had not reviews on the area. Turns out that it was a pleasant stay. On our drive there we saw a couple class As parked in other boat ramps that did not show on this site. When we got to the L-31 ramp the place was well lit, we came into the bridge and turned left into the dirt road on the bottom by the water, we stayed to the right and had plenty of room to turn around our 21’ travel trailer to get out of the area. I would NOT recommend this stop if it is raining as it can get very muddy. The place was very quiet even though it is right next to hwy 41. In the early morning when we were getting ready to take off, a cop drove by, clearly saw us and did not stop, that makes us believe that those places are okay to stay.

Don’t waste your time driving out here. Some kind of water treatment place and not a campsite at all. We ended up staying at the Pilot station down the road. Just make sure you talk to the attendant inside since they follow up on their 24 hour towing policy.
