Since I can't edit reviews in the app want to add to my previous review. I had to clean up and haul out a lot of disgusting dog c rap, which was all over the place, before I could use the site. This filth is the result of people posting the specific site online (I found this dite on my own, without the app). Also, behind a tree was large number of painted stones left, some covered with loose glitter paint, which I had to haul out to prevent further environmental pollution. All these chemcals and glitter get washed in the environment, creek beds here already have trash in them. Someone made a fireput in the creek bed, with trash in it too, trying to foul up water flows, this had to be covered up with rocks and will be dismantled . It is illegal to leave painted rocks on public land. BLM office is considering restricting camping around KOFA refuge area, because enough is enough, so respect this land and do not trash it, or you will be camping in RV park next time.

Gernerally nice and peaceful place to camp but unfortunately it had been "discovered". I would avoid it, just like entire region, during NYE weekend and probably entire month of January, when it turns into a zoo. Large groups of RVs come to camp disturbing the peace with their smelly, noisy camps (neither anyone wants to see these unsightful villages instead of beautiful mountain views). They do not seem to have any sense of privacy and setup too close to others (should be in LTVA, where this belongs). ATVs and loud dirt bikes go back and forth non stop. I think its not just NYE crowds from big cities but also Quartzsite January events crowds. If you come during these times just get as far as your vehicle can take you, ignore any nice sites earlier because you will have a group of 10 RVs setup close you in no time, just keep driving, past their camps too, as far as possible. I had to move my fully setup camp, not an easy feat, during NYE weekend beause of these disrespectful yahoos.

Nice desert boondocking far enough south of Quartzsite to avoid the crowds. MST&T road is very good, but washboard in some spots. Side roads may require 4wd. They can be sandy. Verizon voice was good, but data was a bit slow. Definitely worth the 10 mile drive out of town! Some ATV traffic, but that's the nature of the area!

Remote and quiet place to call home for the night with nothing but stars ✨ and cacti 🌵. We stayed only one night and pulled up just in time to watch the sunset 🌅 with our animals and woke up in time for the sunrise 🌄 very beautiful. The road is well groomed. Our Class-A we easy to get in and out. We went back about 3 miles and had barley seen it any other RVs. We had seen a couple cars drive down the main road but did not bother us. We also hear some coyotes right before the sun rose but they were no bother to us either. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. No road noise. Very clean. We pack it in and pack it out. Get all the moop out. Keep these places beautiful.

The road to get there is quite long with quite a few “established” camping areas off to the side, but we chose one of the first ones because the road was so rough and rutted. The area we choose was relatively flat, requiring only minor adjustments to get our travel trailer level. The view was awesome! Beautiful sunsets every night and no one else around.

You can camp in Kofa too, but we decided to stay on the BLM land closer to the main road. There are many areas and sites to choose from down MST&T. The roads are dirt, but they are manageable by any size rig- we had no trouble in our 35’ fifth wheel.
We had 3 bars Verizon LTE and plenty of sunshine for our solar panels.
