Someone mentioned nails in the road off the highway; he got a puncture in one of his truck tires and one in a camper tire. Has anyone had this happen in the past year? (The post I reference was from January 2020)

I stayed at Palm Canyon for two weeks back in March 2020, I did not experience this issue.

We were there in February 2020 and had no issues. The desert landscape is very beautiful, quiet, and relaxing, definately a worthwhile trip to make.

Unfortunately many people burn pallets when wood is not available. And what happens to the nails after burning the wood ? My guess is he picked them up at a camp site.

Its a large area, and anything can happen anywhere, but in Feb 2020 the particular area we were in did not have anything like that that I saw. But that doesn't mean they weren't there.
