Penny asked on 5/13/2020

I see there are 3 campgrounds at Kodachrome State Park - Basin, Arch and another. Can someone explain the differences between the three campgrounds?

Bryce View has 11 large campsites, no hookups and no showers, dirt roads, vault toilet and a water spigot. There are pretty nice views from there. Arch has 7 gravel campsites with electric, water and a vault toilet. No showers. Nice views. Basin is the main campground. It has 46 campsites, with 15 campsites having full hookups. All campground roads and parking spurs are now paved. It has drinking water, modern rest rooms, a laundry, hot showers and dump station. The showers are just amazing - better than many homes have.

Some sites have no hookups, some have electric only, and others are full hookup RV sites. When you go to the reservation page and look at the map it will tell you what type of site it is when you click on the individual campsite numbers.

Basin is the regular campground. It has paved loops, paved sites, hookups in most sites, and a bathhouse with flush toilets and awesome showers. The dump station is located near Basin CG if you don't score one of the full hookup sites. Bryce View is much more rustic, with dry camping, vault toilets, and dirt roads. Arch has sites with water and electric, but also has dirt roads and just a vault toilet. Arch is limited to camping rigs of 25 feet or less.
