This KOA had fairly level sites and was very quiet. There are two sections for the campground and we were in the back section and had no issues. The WiFi was good and they have a little petting zoo at the front. Laundry room had great machines and inexpensive.

It was a literal mud hole to camp in and we had to hunt someone down to cut trees back to even back in and pull out our awning. We camped with a group, was told a concierge refund was going to be made if we were out by 4pm Sunday and we could just pay $5 extra late fee per hour from
11-4. Checked out at 12:00, was charged the $5 and no refund for the Sunday night we didn't stay. We all booked Sunday night in case we couldn't be out on time. The employee there offered to do this for us, not something we asked for. Management will not honor what we were told, handled it unprofessionally and rude. Corporate contacted due to the unacceptable treatment from the manager and have yet to hear ANYTHING from the "owners" of this campgrounds. Honestly, the place is super spread out and a whole area is segregated from the main areas (pool, playground etc) and the area around is sketchy. You will be much better off finding somewhere else to stay! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!

The pool is great with a bunch of splashing elements and a nice little slide. Between the pool, gaga court, and playground the kids had a lot of fun. This was our second trip here and we’ll come back. Close to Indy and it’s a straight shot 25 minutes to Deer Creek amphitheater.

This campground has SO much potential to be excellent, but is lacking in a few areas. The lady who checked us in (owner?) was extremely nice and friendly and allowed us to check in a little early and check out an hour late without charge as our site was not occupied.
Other than a few concrete sites with fireplaces, everything else is gravel and needs some work. The entrance road and is long and quite rough and some of the campsites were flooded and the road right next to our campsite was flooded and very muddy which made it difficult to walk out of our campsite. Luckily, our campsite was dry unlike the one across from us where the campers jacks were partially submerged underwater. As the campground is closed during the winter, I think, it would seem like regrading and adding gravel during the off season would be done before opening for the year.
Our site had a porch swing and firepit and picnic table, although it was too cold to make much use of any of it. The site backed to the service center for the Mount Comfort RV, but we didn't have excessive noise from there. The other maintenance issue that I would have expected to be done was trimming back bushes/trees from the campsites. I had to trim the bushes to open our slide and there were some that were still encroaching quite closely.
There is a pool/splash pad area that was still closed and some very sweet horses you could feed. They were in a small paddock that was deep mud which was not ideal.
The KOA is very close to I-70 and pretty easy access into Indianapolis. There was not a lot else directly by the KOA except for a gas station and McDonalds. Verizon signal was very good and no bandwidth issues.

I wish I could give zero stars. We were stuck here during flooding, electrical lines submerged, sewage backing up and bubbling out of the ground, etc. Our whole campsite was submerged in 8+ inches of water. They would not move me sites. I agreed to pay for the night I was there but I was leaving due to unsafe environment and they refused to refund me for the night I wouldn't be there. I have sent 3 emails over 6+ weeks that have gone unreturned and left 2 messages with the front desk for a manager that never called me back. Today I spoke with a manager who told me they weren't refunding me, offered no explanation for failed return emails/calls, etc. I told her I'd be filing a complaint and asked for her name - she said "I don't have to give you my name and I won't since all you're going to do is throw me under the bus" and then she hung up on me. Absolute horrible customer service and the park itself is in need of much repair.
