Knox City RV Park

I arrived about 5 PM local time and only two of the four spots were taken, each spot has both 30 amp and 50 amp service and are easy to get into. I called City Hall just to make sure I didn’t need to register and as long as I stay two nights or less, there’s no need to register.

There are no bathrooms on site so the Allsop gas station about a block away is your best bet.

T-Mobile works well for Voice and TxT but not for streaming videos. I am roaming on T-Mobile service and not sure who the roaming provider is.

Arrived about 4:00 pm on a Thursday and 2 spots left. We have a 32' MH with toad and no problem fitting in one of the smaller spots. True to listing all is free for two days. Quiet neighborhood in a small town with a couple restaurants and a small grocery store. Another party came in after us and filled up the park. Looks like the other two spots are being used longer term at the moment.

Traveling through west Texas we rerouted slightly to stop here. So glad we did! It's a corner parking lot, hard to believe full hookups! One large fifth wheel was there, and looks like it's been there awhile though we didn't see any activity during our stay. A few local dog walkers passed by on their way to the park. Perfect pit stop, very quiet at night.

2 larger spots for big rigs. 2 smaller spots for smaller rigs. No problems with our 35’ fifth wheel, and we stayed hitched. Dumpster on site. Walking distance to a small grocery store with basics and necessities. City park across the street is a little run down, but our kids enjoyed it. There is a huge concrete pad and parking lot at the church across the street that was great for our kids to scooter. No street noise at all. It’s in a small neighborhood. Did I say this place is free?

4 full hookup spots in a half circle across the street from the park. City park has vault toilet (locked in Jan.), pool that is open seasonally and playground, as well as picnic pavilion. Knox City has fuel and food.
Nice spot for overnight if driving through west Texas. Sites are grass, but level. Minimal traffic noise. Free for first 2 nights, then $10 per night.
