Beautiful area. All sites at the official campground are walk in. I camped in my RTT up the road in a pull out. Expect lots of people rolling in early (as they should) to hike the 14ers.

There’s a road 2.5 miles before Kite Lake. CR 787 will lead you to some amazing national forest camping. Highly recommend Kite Lake
