We don't fish but needed a place to stay a couple of nights as we explored. Needs better signs getting to the camp once you turn off hiway 4. Very rocky sites. a young man met us and told us to take our pick of sites. One drive is too steep to take our trailer down. The electric didn't come on until my husband hunted down the breaker b... more
We don't fish but needed a place to stay a couple of nights as we explored. Needs better signs getting to the camp once you turn off hiway 4. Very rocky sites. a young man met us and told us to take our pick of sites. One drive is too steep to take our trailer down. The electric didn't come on until my husband hunted down the breaker box on a nearby pole. Didn't see any showers. Has latrines. Used the dump on our way out but no trash receptacles. We are here near the end of the season. Didn't see a single person around the morning we left. Can hear road noise during the night.

Great site for fishing the Klutina.
Great staff! Friendly and flexible.
Have added WiFi room to campground. Nice touch. Bathroom and showers kept clean.

Overall Rating
We stayed there for one night at site no. 10. It’s next to the highway, but it’s kind of ok. The campground is located next to a river which is perfect for fishing. They also offers guided fishing tours.

This place is a little rustic but right on the river. The pull through site we had was REALLY TIGHT but we got in and faced the river. The owner just brought it in 2015 and is making improvements. I didn’t use the bathrooms or showers but they had concrete floors and showers were remodeled last summer. Fishing was closed when we were ... more
This place is a little rustic but right on the river. The pull through site we had was REALLY TIGHT but we got in and faced the river. The owner just brought it in 2015 and is making improvements. I didn’t use the bathrooms or showers but they had concrete floors and showers were remodeled last summer. Fishing was closed when we were there but it is supposed to be the best fishing around. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. You should go check it out.
