Don't you just love it when campgrounds throw around the word resort? When I think of resort I think of perfectly manicured sites, paved and level sites, immaculate bathrooms and lots of amenities. Though this is a far cry from a resort, we actually had a beautiful stay here. We came the week after their busy season so most of the time we were all alone in the most picturesque site they have. We even had our own little entrance to the water and a large section of the beach to play on.
You'll come down a 4(?) mile dirt road and think there couldn't possibly be anything down there...but it's there. Super muddy logging road (it rained 4 of the 5 days we were there). Owners were super nice and helpful, but this is not a resort.
There is a glorified outhouse, running water but a scary little building that stays shut by placing a rock in front of the door. And super dirty, smelly showers but got the job done since we didn't have full hookups.
Cell signal was minimal unless you're up near the office.
Oh, and you'll be hearing the train all day and night as it passes right above the campground.... lovely :)
Electricity is only 20 amp so be prepared for that! It's really just a similar experience to the provincial parks, but it is on a beautiful lake. Wish it had been warmer for us to enjoy the water.
Would we go back, yes, but probably not for more than a couple days at a time.
TinyShinyHome would stay here again

Really nice and tidy campground with friendly staff. The only negative point: every other hour a train rushes through over the campground - rather noisy.

On the banks of the upper Columbia River, this campground is a gem! At the confluence of the Beaver and Columbia Rivers this campground is run by a husband and wife team and they have made this VERY special.
They have carved great spaces out of the banks and made turning and parking pretty easy. They have canoe's for rent as well as basic campground supplies.
The road down from Hwy 1 is about 4 km's and twisty but easily traversed with our 30' Airstream and longed truck. They got a little dirty but it cleans off.
Showers and multiple toilets are available, as well as playground for the kids.
If you are an NHL fan, you'll want to talk with Rick!
LanceH would stay here again
