We loved the fact that most of the sites had no electric. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Don't even need to reserve a site, just roll in and pick one out and use the self service machine to pay.

All very well maintained. The marina store has supplies and adult beverages to enjoy on their covered deck.
Everyone has been very nice: registration and marina staff.
Made an easy 1/2 hour trip to Devils Tower. Well worth it! Would definitely stay here if in the area again.
Groceries 1/2 hour away. Come prepared.

Campground road is dusty and the dust gets on everything. Pay showers, fastest 3 minutes of my life! 50 cents gets you 3 minutes, and the water is a thin stream, but at least hot.
About 30 minutes to Devils Tower on dirt/gravel roads through scenic country and LOTS of cattle guards. (get there EARLY as it turns into a mob).
There's a nice laundromat (Bubbles) in Moorcroft, about 20 minutes away.

This was a nice park that was close to Devil’s Tower for hiking and other day trips. The park officials were friendly and courteous.
The park regulations attached to the Keyhole website clearly state no dogs off leash but few people obeyed this regulation. Our adjoining neighbors in two sites let their dogs run free most of the time.
The park regulations also state quiet time is from 10pm to 6am. We noticed a lot of the locals run their generators nonstop between 6am and 10pm. Again, these folks are not breaking the rules but it’s pretty noisy.
The sites are very close together and uneven so be prepared to do some work leveling your trailer. These sites can accommodate trailers up to 25 foot comfortably but not much more.

Excellent campground! Level sites. Close to Devils Tower, the WY Scenic Byway, and others. Host was fabulous and the gal at the gate was exceptional with a smile and a laugh everyday! She made the stay more enjoyable for sure! Kuddos to her for sure!!!

This was a lovely State Park on a beautiful lake that is just 30min from Devil's Tower and about 2 hours from the Wind Cave and Mt. Rushmore. One loop has full hookups - which is where we camped. I believe there are at least 2 other loops, with what looked to be great views, but no hookups. We camped here 2 weekends before Memorial Day. Got here on a Thursday nite and had the place almost to ourselves. Friday the local weekenders moved in and every site was full, but remained quiet and peaceful. Great walking/biking trail around the park.

There were 9-10 -20’x100’ pull thrus and only 2 were occupied including us. Right on the lake with boat ramp within the loop. Deer wandering through area mornings and evenings. Seemed expensive for no hookups, but the privacy and views made it worthwhile. 38’ HR Endevor with 27’ enclosed for 65’ total length.

So where is everyone? We were here midweek, and there was nobody else here. Not even a camp host! And even though it was wonderfully peaceful, we had to wonder why nobody comes here.

I am not sure why the other reviews are negative. Great, open sites with a lake view. Maybe the electric only is a deterrent for some but I love it here.
