Overall Rating

A fire in 2015 burned right into the park but they were able to stop the blaze and save most of the park’s trees. Rail trail is easily accessible, you can even ride to a nearby town for a meal. There are thick shady camp spots and open, sunny ones , take your pick!

Overall Rating

Hard to complain when everything is good, oh, remove the mosquitoes please :) River is shallow, water is clean. There is an old bridge from which can jump into the river. Nice trail. Clean toilets, 3 showers. Sites closer to river have bush around them and more privacy. Our site was separated from neighbours by trees only. Cellular Telus signal was 3 bars.
