With all the amazing weather we have been getting, we managed to stay in Mid April. Water was turned on flush toilets were clean. Hardly anyone there 😀

This small campground has paved and relatively level sites. Sites very in size but most should fit RVs of at least 25 feet and up to 30+. Several were back-in and several were pull through. The campground was well maintained but basic, which is typical of other National Forest Service campgrounds in our area.
The campground is on a peninsula within a flood plane of the Kettle River. The site may be surrounded by either water or grassland depending on the level of Lake Roosevelt, which is several miles to the south. When we were here the level was low and the flow rate of the Kettle River was quite high, so boating in the river wasn't an option.
Reservations are required for all sites. You can reserve open sites on the same day. The reservation system at reservations.gov is relatively easy to use. The forest rangers enforce the reservation system. During our stay a family was ticketed and evicted for occupying someone else's reserved site.
The nearest town for major supplies is only about 10 miles south, Kettle Falls. We also found that the Barstow General store a few miles to the north was surprisingly well stocked for a small convenience store.
Verizon data coverage was good enough for video calls during our stay.

Small campground next to the kettle river, 13 sites shaded by pines, only site #3 suitable for afternoon solar. Only 2 other sites occupied. River seems to be very low. Float dock isn’t even close to the river. Pit toilets. Absolutely silent after we ran our generator for 15 minutes to cook dinner on the instant pot.
