Grounds are very well kept. Dump station is new with 4 fresh water lines and 2 dumps accessible from both sides. For fishermen, they have a deluxe fish cleaning shelter. Bath houses are very clean. For kids there are 3 nice playground areas. My wife loved walking in the mornings on the miles of road around the park with no traffic. The sunsets are spectacular. And do not miss the highlights in Lemmon (16 miles away). The museum is top notch. The dinosaur fossils they found in this area are AMAZING! Top off your Lemmon visit with a stop at Grandma's Chocolates. Delicious!

A bit pricey for my needs... No non-electric sites, so you are paying for electricity whether you use it or not. I paid $26, plus a $7.70 non-resident fee, plus tax. Would have had to pay an additional $8 daily park entrance fee had I not had an annual state park pass. $43, in my opinion, is too much for tent camping.

Arrived on Saturday left on Monday. Each site has electric only 15, 30, and 50 amp service. Most sites appear level with tree shading, ours had both. There are 2 shower/toilet buildings on either end of campground. Upon entering but before passing through front gate, behind fish cleaning station, is a fresh water and dump station. With... more

With AT&T hot spot had 3 bars consistently. Large RVs handled easily.
