Kerry Lake Recreation Site

There are 4 large rough sites with fire pits and picnic tables but there are a lot of camping possibilities at this site. If you continue taking the road to the left there are numerous large areas for boondocking on the left and right side of the road. Plenty of room for big rigs and room if you have a group of RV's. This road ends in a gravel area, camping could be done in this area too. Someone was taking care of the place as far as weed eating and toilet paper supply. There were some fallen trees that were recently cut to open the road.

There is no sign on the highway for Kerry Lake, but the coordinates are correct. There is a sign on the highway warning you of a road to the left coming up as you drive northbound. We walked the road in and it was great. There were even a couple of sites along the road. The highway could barely be heard.

We had the place to ourselves, except for the mosquitos, so of course we took the waterfront site.

This is an old mill site that has 4 camping pads, picnic tables, fire rinks, an outhouse and access to the lake (Crooked River flows through the lake). Driving Directions: Travel ~95,5 km north of Prince George (~21,5 km past Bear Lake Community). The site is accessed left off of Hwy 97, 1,2 km in. There was signal on the road, but not much at the sites. If there are people camped there already, you might have to unhook your tow vehicle to turn around.
