Due to this we left spot 21 and went to 17. The host will charge you full price to Meg spots and we contacted rec.gov. Well see how that works out. The camp ground is pretty. Very quiet and nice. Kent lake is very pretty but 2 years in a row have yet to meet anyone who catches fish here. We love it here and will be back. Zero cell service unless you have a cell extender in this area for att. Friends of ours have nothing with sprint also.

However... the lake had an algae problem and it was kinda creepy to go into it. No one wanted to swim, so we did some kayaking, but only went to the lake once in 5 days because the algae was so bad. The camp host said it was not toxic algae, but it looked a lot like the harmful "grass clippings" algae warned about on this site... https://deq.utah.gov/water-quality/photo-gallery-harmful-algal-blooms-habs
Besides that one interaction with the camp host, we never saw him again. He filled up the toilet paper in the outhouses, but never cleaned them. The same sticks and leaves were in the same places for 5 days -- no sweeping or mopping done. With COVID-19, you would have thought that would have been more of a priority.
Overall, this was a very quiet campground. There were a few times that dogs barked for a couple of hours (which is really mean to the dog) and people ran their generators late. One night I went to the restroom at 11:30pm and the camp host's generator was running!
If I knew the lake was safe to be in, we might camp there again. But, probably not.

We arrived at Kents Lake Campground while looking for Upper Kents Lake BLM. Both places are on top of a mountain. The drive up the compacted gravel road is a little challenging and the whole time you are wondering if this is somewhere you should be. There are pull offs on the road, so if someone comes the other way either you or they can move over. When we pulled in we could not believe how many people were there. Almost every spot was taken. We pull a 30' fifth wheel and were surprised to see rigs bigger than ours (at least one 40' toy hauler). We talked to the host who mentioned his free first come first served spots were already taken. Since we were only spending the night he let us stay on site 32, a pull through, as the guests were not expected to show until the next day. It looks like most people make reservations for this campground and do not arrive unannounced.
This was definitely a cute campground. We pulled out in the morning, noticed a ton of people fishing for trout in the lake, and made the trip back down the mountain. Get ready to smell your brakes as you will work them pretty hard.
I give this place 3 stars for "Access" as it is a steep road going up and down.

Beautiful site, partial shade, walking distance to Kents Lake. Friends and I stayed here with our dogs and it was a beautiful site, for us and the dogs as they enjoyed the lake waters and the meadow! I recommend this campground to anyone that’s looking at it!

Clean, well-stocked vault toilets. Lots of recreational users (fishing, dirt bikes, ATVs). The partying got a little loud sometimes. Beautifully situated between mountains and under a star-filled sky.
The road into the campground turns gravel about halfway up from the turnoff. Made me wish we had AWD, especially after the rain. But all-in-all, it was a relatively easy drive up from Beaver.
