Kendallville Campground

Stayed two nights, midweek, and were the only campers there besides the host. Upper Iowa River is right at the park and makes for wonderful background music. Bathhouses were clean, grass was mowed, no trash to be found! Used dump station on the way out and all as it should be. Scattered free water hydrants in the park. 20/30 amp at all RV sites. Playground equipment in good shape.

This little park sits in a deep valley astride the Upper Iowa River. The campground is lightly wooded with lots of mown grass. Each RV site has electricity; some tent sites do not. The sites are level. There are flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. Water is available at scattered hydrants. The campground is mostly used by locals on weekends and holidays. We were alone with the host until a group of girls traveling on the river landed and set up camp 100 yards from us in the tent area.

There is only spotty cell service. My phone showed nothing but my wife had 0-2 bars on hers - mostly 0 in the evening, slightly stronger in the morning.
