We accommodate here for 2 weeks almost, changed spot 1, staff was super nice, very organized and welcoming. They have everything you need, full hookups with back ins and pull thru, propane service, the pool is amazing, bbq place, plenty of place to walk and nice neighbors. Very nice place to stay for vacation, great weather for us.

Very nice showers with HOT water and lots of pressure. Reasonably priced.

Sites are right next to one another with a strip of grass between them. There is a decent sized retention pond on one side of the grounds with a walking path around it, and there was a nice looking pool and game room. It's in the city, so everything you need is close by. The lot is secured by a controlled gate. Lots of long term residents, but the sites were well maintained and cared for. We'd stay here again if coming through the area.

Lots of room for everyone, pool table, outdoor tv, bar seating and the kids enjoyed the pool. Laundry room was clean and long term residents are friendly and really kept the place clean. Wonderful half mile trail around the lake and catch & release fishing. Costco and other shopping not too far away. We will stay here next time we are in the area.

Heading through TX to AZ, we did a quick one night here. Great location to just about everything you could need. Located in the city area but not noisy. Nice lake in the middle with a nice clubhouse, laundry, showers, pool and workout area. Free donuts and coffee on Saturday mornings. Sites had a decent spacing for a private park.

The entire park is concrete with small patches of grass. It is as urban as an RV park can get. There are even storage-style roofs in the park and people park under them (maybe weather protection). I originally thought one of the rows was storage but people were living in their RVs below the roofs. In fairness, this park may also be packed with full timers due to Harvey. All in all, find another spot to stay unless you need noise and concrete.

For an "in-town" RV park, Katy Lake is a great choice. We were in Katy to visit a friend who lives 5-10 minutes from the RV park, so the location was perfect for us. We're not fans of crowded RV parks with lots of sites crammed together, but we knew what we were getting into so I can't really complain. There's enough room to open your awning without hitting your neighbor, but not much more room than that. Our pull-through had a paved car parking pad next to the RV, so with our car next to us we had very little camping space (not unusual for a park like this). The $39 weekly rate for full hookups right in Katy close to everything is a good deal. Right outside the RV park is every store you could need, in the typical suburban never ending strip mall frenzy. There is a very nice 1/2 mile paved path around the lake, and a nice fenced dog park that's bigger than most, but apart from that there's no good place nearby for longer dog walks. The Katy Dog Park is a 10-15 minute drive and is HUGE (several fenced wooded acres), with a small pond, a paved loop path, and lots of grass and trees. The WiFi at the RV park worked intermittently and was usually too slow to be useful to us. Verizon and AT&T both worked great. The RV park entrance on Morton Rd. is quite uneven, so you may want to take the turn slowly to prevent dishes from flying out of cabinets. The park is gated and you need to pay a $50 refundable deposit for the remote gate opener. They also give you a code to get in with the keypad near the gate, but there is no way to get out without the opener! There's no keypad inside the park, and the gate does not automatically open when you approach from inside. One morning (before the office opened) the gate was apparently malfunctioning and we couldn't get out of the park--no remotes would open it. Eventually some other stuck RVers manually pulled the gates open so we could all get out. Due to the great location and reasonable price, we'd return here.

If you're RVing in Metro Houston, you're not going to get a lot of landscape which seems to be a complaint on these reviews.
We had plenty of room for not only our 40' MH but our Tahoe as well. Even parking for friends. The park was not crowded when we were there. There are some full timers there and there are some displaced by Harvey but nothing negative about any of them. They were all very welcoming!
The clubhouse was very nice with a large sofa, pool table, water and ice, a treadmill and elliptical. Awesome outdoor grills for your use right next to the fantastic heated pool and hot tub. Met a LOT a very nice people in that pool!
The lake is a wonderful place to walk the dogs. I enjoyed watching the turtles bask in the sun. Never got to fish but thats ok as there is about every grocery store within a couple mile radius so I let them fish and hunt for us.
Uber and Lyft are a very easy way to get around as well.
If you have to be in the Houston area, this is a wonderful park.
