Kanarraville Rest Area Southbound

I actually arrived pretty early in the day, March 2023. And I had just driven through the snowstorm from Twin Falls, Idaho. I was beat, but this looked like a nice rest area. The bathrooms were warm and clean. The property had quite a few covered table areas for a nice picnic. There are trails to the right of the bathrooms to scramble up for fun, just short ones, though. The parking lot is divided with trucks on one side but actually far enough away that I don't hear them too bad. There are car spots, and next to the a few long spots to park an RV along the curb. Yes, you will hear the hwy noise as there's only a small treed and shrub area to buffer them....but it's doable.
It is just a rest area, after all. There was a policeman using the facilities, so I definitely felt safe here.

Nice enough! There were a couple other cars in the lot and big rigs were on the other side of the restroom building. Bathrooms were clean and it was pretty quiet.
